There is no more versatile vehicle than a Jeep®.When it comes to sheer ruggedness,off-road capability, power and utility, the Jeep® can do it all. Sure, other vehicles and manufacturers could do one specific thing better, but Jeep® has the whole package. It succeeds in virtually every category, in every way that counts.
But that doesn’t mean it couldn’t push the envelope even further.
What if that cornerstone Jeep® capability was taken and moulded into something new? What if the Jeep® was turned into a truck?
A Challenger Appears
Not a Dodge Challenger. That would be swell though, because they’re excellent vehicles! No, we mean a new contender has rolled onto the road, poised to challenge the midsize pickup market with best-in-class towing, and a best-in-class payload.
It’s the all-new the 2020 Jeep® Gladiator.
Pack your big toys in the truck bed, and haul your camper thanks to the more powerful pickup engine. Thanks to the legendary 4×4 capability of the Jeep®, you can also take it all with you out on the trails. A seamless blend of a pickup truck’s “oomph,” and Jeep® grit. The Gladiator not only overcomes any challenge, but it also gives you the confidence you need to seek them out.
Best of all, the Gladiator is the only open-air truck in the industry! Thanks to the ingenious Jeep® design, you can remove the top, the doors, and even fold down the windscreen—just like you can on the classic Wrangler. Drive around with your midsize crew cab wide open to the sun and the breeze. Enjoy a level of freedom you just can’t find anywhere else.
Not a Comanche, Not a Scrambler
Sure, Jeep® has ventured past the “truck” line before, with the Comanche. It was a decent midsize pickup, but was phased out in the 1990s to better integrate Jeep® with the Dodge and Chrysler family. In a way, the Gladiator is picking up the legacy of the Comanche, but brings the design closer in line with the Jeep® Wrangler and away from the modern Jeep® Cherokee.
For a while, Jeep® also offered a Wrangler with a truck bed—the Scrambler wasn’t a truck, though. While the Gladiator may have that same iconic design you’d see on a Wrangler, it’s not just a regular Jeep® with a truck bed. It’s 100% truck.
The 2020 Jeep® Gladiator is almost here, and Go Auto Don Mills Chrysler already freed up space on the lot for them. Be sure to check out our main Gladiator page, and then sign up to learn the moment they become available.
