As an established corporation being an active member of the community is part of our core beliefs. With great success comes the opportunity to give back to those in need and who’ve helped make us who we are today. We take pride at being a valued member of North York and the surrounding area. Our employees are active in the community participating in community runs, volunteer work, food drives and community clean up.
“Giving back creates a sense of purpose while building a culture of giving which perpetuates continuous giving. Not only does giving back strengthen the community but it provides emotional well being to residents while providing those in need with building blocks to succeed in the future.”
Bob Bozic, General Manager
Go Auto has given away over $10 million to local charities. This includes our current corporate initiative, Go Auto Fuels the Schools. Where meals are provided to 62,500 kids this year in Edmonton. We are actively involved in supporting numerous charities throughout the Edmonton area. We can’t wait to expand our charitable initiatives here in Ontario, starting with North York.
Getting your Charity involved with Go Auto Don Mills?
It is very simple. The first and only step, fill out a submission form located on our website as to why your charity is in need of $1,500.00. The reasons don’t have to be big or groundbreaking. Whether you are a community service provider, sports association, social group or any other non-profit organization that benefits its members and the community we want to hear from you!
What is the Process?
Submissions completed by the end of each month will be reviewed by a panel of judges. We take a look at who needs the money the most and grant that organization $1,500.00 to help their charity/non-profit. Charities/non-profits who aren’t picked in that given month are kept on file for the next month’s give away. Ensuring that all charities that apply receive funding from Go Auto Don Mills at one point throughout the year.
Everyone! When corporations help those in need, we are enabling those in need to thrive, while strengthening the community. As the saying goes “your team is only as strong as your weakest link” in this case our community.
